Warzone 2.0 Meta Loadouts for Season 2!

Warzone 2.0 Meta Loadouts

The new season of Warzone 2 is here, and with that you can expect developers to shake things up a bit. And sure enough, the guns that were tried and true in season 1 have been nerfed. For months, the RPK and the Fennec were the standard in Warzone combat. That’s just not the case anymore. Lucky for you, that’s why we’re here, to keep you up to date on the weapons that are gonna keep you competitive. We’re going to break down the best weapon in each class.

Assault riffle

The most commonly used weapon class in Warzone is the assault riffle. Ironically, the first season’s meta  “AR” was ran by the an LMG. That being said, there is a new kid on the block, and that “kid” is no other than the ISO Hemlock. The Hemlock has very little recoil, good damage output, and a competitive fire rate. The best attachment breakdown for the ISO Hemlock seems to be as such:

  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Barrel: Fielder-T50
  • Magazine: 45-Round Mag
  • Optic: Schlager 3.4X
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56

Honorable mentions: Kastov 762, Taq-56

SMG

If assault rifles are Batman, SMGs are no doubtable Robin. As stated before, the Fennec reigned supreme for the first season, however, season 2 is here, and the best SMG in the game is the Lachman sub. With above average damage, minimal recoil, and a very fast fire rate, the Lachman sub is force to be reckoned with in the close range meta.

The best attachment breakdown for the Lachman sub is:

  • Muzzle: XRK Sandstorm.
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10.
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW.
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mags.
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40.

Honorable mentions: Vaznev-9k, Fennec 45

Shotguns

Call of Duty Warzone has always been hard on shotguns, however, every now and then a shotgun is introduced to the game and shakes up the meta. The KV Broadside is the newest rendition of this fact. If you were a player of Warzone 1, then you may remember the “Doof Doof”. The Doof Doof got it’s name from the sound the shotgun made when it rained down fire rounds on its poor victim. Similarly, the KV Broadside is built to cause that same devastation.  The recoil for the Broadside is not a factor, it has a semi-automatic fire rate, and a god-tier damage profile. kv broadside
